MAN UP MR. PRESIDENT!! New Poll Shows America is Fed Up With Blame Bush

By

UH-OH it looks as if the American People are not as stupid as the progressive Democrats in power believe. The Democrats don't realize that George Bush is no longer president, but the American people do. According to a new Fox News poll, by a whopping margin of 76-18% Americans believe that its high time President Obama stopped blaming his predecessor for everything.

The Democrats have been shaping their midterm message to campaign against President Bush, itsw vote for us, or its back to the bad old days of George Bush. That's right Barack Obama and his progressive majority are going to take a page out of the kindergarten playbook. "Its not my fault....blame Bush."

The majority of voters still believe that it was George Bush who got us into the economic mess 47%-32% an overwhelming majority want the President to "man up." Interestingly even those voters who feel that it was Bush who got us into this mess, the majority (55%) want Obama to start taking responsibility.

Voters are not optimistic about the economy. The vast majority of voters (88%) believe that we are still in a recession. Out of that group, more than half (48 out of 88%) believe its going to get worse. Six percent (half)  think the recession is over  but we may be getting another one.

The president's approval level remains the same as two weeks ago, 43% approve, 49 disapprove of the job President Obama is doing. As you would expect, most Democrats (77 %) approve of Obama and most Republicans (81%) disapprove. Independents weigh in on the disapproval side (46-42%).

In a related question by a 63-32% margin voters believe government has gotten so big it is hurting the future of the country.

This poll shows that not only has public opinion moved away from the Democratic party, but the strategy they are using to try to get back into the voter's good graces, "Blame Bush" simply will not work.

Things to Consider

I really like the first one. Let's push for it! Call or email your Congress Person.   --Al

Every Bill Should State Its Constitutional Authority, Republican Congressman Says
(CNSNews.com)
- A Republican congressman says all bills introduced in Congress should include a statement setting forth the specific constitutional authority under which a law is being enacted. Rep. John Shadegg (R-Va.) says his Enumerated Powers Act will force Congress to re-examine the role of the national government and curb its "ever-expanding reach."

Social Security: Government 'Ponzi' Scheme Turns 75 with $41 Billion Shortfall
(The Balance Sheet) Social Security, with its 'trust fund' filled with Treasury IOUs, is in serious fiscal trouble, but you wouldn't guess it from stories by the mainstream news media. Reporters and columnists have downplayed the program’s budget shortfall and claimed that fixing the broken system would be a “snap.”

Congressman Calls Vote on $26 Billion Jobs Bill a Sign ‘We’re Not Bankrupting the Country Fast Enough’
(CNSNews.com)
– With a note of sarcasm, a California Republican congressman said he “knows” why members of the U.S. House of Representatives were summoned from their home districts back to the halls of Congress. “Many people are asking why Congress is here today,” Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) said on Tuesday. “I think the answer’s pretty simple: We’re not bankrupting the country fast enough and so we need to come back and spend more.” During the week that Congress was not in session, McClintock said his constituents had one message: “Stop the spending.”

American Anger Hotter Than the Weather ... for Good Reason
(The Balance Sheet) Budget woes, ethical failures, enormous deficit, high unemployment and more all add to rising tide of resentment.

Dems Dish More Bailouts
(Glenn Beck) $26.1 billion dollars this time to (allegedly) save teachers' jobs all across America - a bill that came
at the expense of cutting food stamps. Glenn wonders what the political strategy is on this bill, considering Gibbs came out yesterday and took a jab at the far left - the same day they cut food stamps. Glenn lays out the scenario on radio today. ( Transcript, Insider Audio) Check out this FREE Insider Extreme clip for more on this emergency spending bill.

Ground Zero Mosque Reveals Deeper Muslim Problem
(Washington Insider with Ronald Kessler) With his refusal to condemn terrorists and insensitivity to New Yorkers devastated by the 9/11 attack, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf symbolizes the attitudes that need to change within the Muslim community.
