What we’ve got here is an example of “chutzpa” which rises above the ordinary.
Actually, it reminds me of an old Jewish joke:
Every Friday, before the Sabbath, Cohen would drop twenty Shekels into the tin cup of Yossel the beggar. One week, to Yossel’s surprise, Cohen put only five shekels into his cup. Cohen sighed and explained that his company had gone bankrupt, and that he himself had fallen upon hard times. To which Yossel replied “Your business goes bad and I should suffer?!”
